Company & Project: Apple Technical Recruitment are working with an award winning consultancy operating across multiple sectors including Pharmaceutical/Science, Healthcare and Mixed-Use. The successful business, who employ 20+ staff locally, are seeking to recruit an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team on a key major project in Hertfordshire.

Our client has as an exciting project list secured for the next 18 months+ and they are looking for a Surveyor to work on projects c£100m+ for their prestigious and repeat clients in the local area.

There is a clear pathway for promotion to Senior QS, with no ceiling for growth in this profitable and progressive company.

Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for concept to completion cost management, including but not limited to - cost planning, variations, tender analysis, contract administration and cost reporting.

Desirable Experience:

  • 3-5 years+ post-grad experience working as a Quantity Surveyor with a chartered surveying practice or consultancy.

  • Excellent client facing skills and experience working in both pre and post contract surveying.

  • Currently completing their APC or with an interest to achieve RICS Chartership.

  • Previous Roles: Quantity Surveyor OR Cost Manager OR Intermediate QS OR QS OR MRICS Surveyor.

    Qualifications & Skills: Degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or comparable qualification.
