Job Title: MEP Quantity Surveyor
Location: Central London
Salary: £70,000 to £100,000 + package

Are you an experienced and driven MEP Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting new challenge? My client is an industry-leading consultancy known for delivering complex, high-profile projects across the commercial, residential, education, sports, hospitality, and pharmaceutical sectors. They are seeking a commercially astute, career-focused MEP Quantity Surveyor with expertise in mechanical or electrical services to join their growing team in Central London.

The MEP Quantity Surveyor will work on a variety of high-value projects, quickly becoming an integral part of my client's expanding M&E Cost Consultancy team. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, with strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive cost plans, ensuring accurate forecasting and resource allocation to meet financial goals. Refine cost plans as project scope evolves to align with budget constraints.
Conduct accurate cost estimates for MEP components, considering materials, labour, equipment, and overheads. Analyze design changes and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Develop and oversee project budgets, maintaining cost control and providing updates on budget variances to project teams and management.
Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, managing variations and claims while ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies, providing proactive risk-related advice to prevent disputes and delays.
Coordinate closely with project teams and stakeholders, regularly communicating financial status and highlighting any cost or timeline impacts.
Generate detailed cost reports and financial forecasts, maintaining accurate records of project transactions.This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and knowledgeable MEP Quantity Surveyor to join an industry-leading firm, where you'll have the chance to work on complex and exciting projects.
