About the role

You will be a part of the Medical Marketing team in the UK part of North Europe region and will be responsible for development and execution of medical marketing strategies across select healthcare brands within Reckitt.
Your responsibilities

Be the member of the medical marketing function within Reckitt UK, working with the UK Self Care Category Managers from the Marketing leadership team to set and direct the SelfCare portfolio priorities for healthcare professional marketing and communications.
Manage the medical marketing priorities to build and execute medical marketing strategies across the healthcare brand portfolio.
Work with Medical Marketing team lead to liase with with global category teams to ensure alignment with global strategy Work collaboratively with the Category Managers and Brand teams in the development of marketing plans, appropriate marketing tools and materials to drive growth in selected healthcare products.
Manage the execution of of a KOL led strategy & propose new ideas to to increase and enhance the advocacy for the healthcare categories in which Reckitt operates and products within the portfolio of selected healthcare brands.
Act as medical liaison as required to support the development of strategic partnerships, KOLs; attending key healthcare conferences and presenting at advisory board meetings
Effectively manage the medical marketing budget for responsible brands.
Monitor relevant legislation, medical issues, trends and guidelines in the UK and identify and manage risks and opportunities.
The experience we're looking for

Educated to a high standard in a scientific discipline; preferably with a second degree or healthcare professional qualification (medical, clinical, pharmaceutical related degree)
Demonstrable healthcare / medical marketing experience gained in FMCG and Pharmaceutical markets (5 years)
Proven experience engaging and collaborating with Key Opinion Leaders across healthcare disciplines
Understanding of the NHS structure, including drug tariff listings
Strong knowledge of both prescription (Rx), over-the-counter / P-line and GSL products
Sound experience and knowledge of the UK healthcare industry
Knowledge of relevant healthcare practices, codes of conduct, policies and how these impact marketing plans
Ability to build good relationships and challenge constructively and confidently
Strong conceptual and analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation in line with opportunities and changes within the market
Insightful, with the ability to consolidate complex information, interpret & construct straightforward plans.
Ability to work on complex projects with a good understanding of medical terminology
Demonstrate Reckitt leadership behaviours & establish role model behaviours for the rest of the team.
Ambitious and keen to take on responsibility in an organisation that provides a high level of autonomy and individual responsibility.
Ability to challenge the status quo and propose improvement.
Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities balanced with a deep understanding of the NHS and changing healthcare environment

A robust track record in Marketing, with a shining portfolio of successes in both Marketing and Sales functions.
An ability to combine strategic thinking with decisive action, backed by a sharp commercial mindset.
Insightful grasp of consumer behaviour and market trends, with an emphasis on a global perspective.
Excellent communication skills, adept at nurturing relationships and managing stakeholders with ease.
