Microbiologist – 6 month contract – Edinburgh – Excellent rate

I am recruiting for an experienced microbiologist for a permanent contract with an industry leading organisation based just outside Edinburgh. The role will involve performing routine environmental monitoring of clean room and sterile suites as well as carrying out Bacterial identification testing and supporting the training of new team members in a high-quality environment. The position will involve working to GMP therefore you should feel comfortable working to high quality standards.

In order to be successful in this position you should have proven experience in most of the following:

  • Environmental monitoring

  • Bacterial identification, Gram Staining / API Strip testing

  • Working to GMP or similar quality standards

  • Clean room gowning procedures

  • TVC’s
