A Health & Safety Manager vacancy working for a leading manufacturer based in Berkshire. Reporting into the Head of Health & Safety and working closely with the company's leadership team to support their ambitious growth plans over the next eight to ten years. There are opportunities for development and progression in the wider group.


The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for:


  • Conducting Health & Safety audits, maintaining legal and risk registers, and ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices through tools like CEDREC.
  • Developing and delivering Health & Safety training, updating induction materials, and embedding risk controls into SOPs and work instructions to promote safe ways of working.
  • Leading preparedness and response efforts for emergencies, ensuring statutory inspections are completed, and investigate incidents with corrective and preventative actions.
  • Championing behavioural safety, leading the Safety Champions and HS&E Committee, support occupational health initiatives, and report KPIs and shared learnings to management.


The Health & Safety Manager will have:


  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Health & Safety experience in a food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment
  • Minimum three years H&S experience
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
