Head of Engineering

We are working with a growing MedTech company based in Cambridge, they are seeking a Head of Engineering to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The role requires one day per week in the office.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead and develop a team of Engineers.
  
  
• Oversee UK and international manufacturing sites.
  
  
• Drive development of embedded software, electronics, and PCB design to the highest quality and performance standards.
  
  
• Provide strategic and technical leadership for product development and optimisation.
  
  
• Collaborate with product management, clinical research, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing teams to deliver engineering projects successfully.
  
  The Successful candidate will have:
  
  
• Electrical/Electronics Engineering Degree (BSc/BEng/HND) or relevant experience.
  
  
• 8–10 years’ experience in engineering and manufacturing, preferably in MedTech or related industries.
  
  
• Proven leadership experience managing electronic and software engineering teams.
  
  
• Full product lifecycle experience from concept to commercialisation.
  
  
• Hardware and software integration expertise.
  
  
• Excellent communicational skills.
