PE Global is currently recruiting for a Communication Specialist for a leading multi-national Pharma client based in Castleford.


This is an initial 3 months contract position paying £23.00 - £26.00 ph PAYE. The role is on site preferably, although hybrid work can be discussed.


Duties of the role/Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute internal and external corporate communication and engagement strategies and plans, aligned with our global and regional priorities.
  • Roll-out regional and global disease and therapy area engagement campaigns, localising for the UK market where appropriate.
  • Develop high-quality content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, internal intranet and marketing materials that is aligned to our brand and corporate narrative.
  • Develop and execute a social media & thought-leadership strategy.
  • Revising and reviewing existing content to ensure it remains timely, accurate and aligned with our corporate narrative.
  • Lead the development of content strategies and campaigns, and developing and tracking KPIs to assess ongoing success.

Education/Experience

  • Proven experience in developing and executing strategic communication plans and initiatives, preferably in the pharmaceutical or another highly-regulated industry.
  • Understanding of the role disease awareness activities play in the launch of products.
  • Knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice and its implications on disease awareness and communications activities
  • 2-3 years experience ideally with a pharma background.
