We are excited to announce that due to an internal move, a new position has become available within our team. We’re currently seeking a Health Economics & Market Access Manager to join our vibrant, collaborative and supportive team based in London Paddington.

As the successful candidate you’ll be contributing to our HTA strategies and health economics modelling while working on high-priority projects across the Ipsen portfolio. Role Responsibilities

HTA strategy and submissions

  • Support the development of HTA strategies for allocated products through engagement with all relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the end-to-end development and management of high-quality submissions to national HTA agencies (NICE, SMC, AWMSG and NCPE) to achieve positive recommendations
  • Project manage external consultancy agencies in developing/adapting health economic models, reviews and publications to support business needs
  • Contribute to the adaptation of market access and health economics tools provided by global colleagues to make them UK specific
  • Develop and/or implement HEOR evidence generation projects to address data gaps for HTA submissions and manage/support their delivery

Team collaboration & culture

  • Work collaboratively and share expertise across the organisation to remove silos and duplication of effort
  • Adhere to and support the development of team processes to ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with appropriate local and global SOPs
  • Contribute to overall business unit/commercial strategy and planning, by supporting and feeding intelligence from all activities above into core teams, marketing strategy meetings, and business and strategic planning processes where appropriate

Stakeholders landscaping/build networks and engagement

  • Engage with and build relationships with key clinicians, local and national payers, and HTA officials to support all allocated brands
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the UK and Ireland healthcare system and market access environments and understand implications for Ipsen medicines
  • Actively contribute to the development of national-level HTA policy through active engagement with HTA and trade bodies and other key stakeholders e.g. responding to consultations, ABPI working groups, where appropriate

Knowledge & Experience

  • Post-graduate degree/advanced qualification in health economics or similar discipline
  • Demonstrable experience working with health economic models
  • Ability to independently interpret, analyse, synthesise and present scientific data, written or verbally, in various forms and to various audiences is essential
  • Demonstrable ability to manage complex projects, and coordinate production of multiple outputs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail, good grammar and syntax skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Understanding of HTA agency requirements in the UK and Ireland (NICE, SMC, AWMSG and NCPE) is desirable
