As Market Access Lead for General Medicines and Neurology, you will lead your team of Health economists and Value & Access Manager on the development of health economic and outcomes evidence to optimise patient access to Sanofi General Medicines and Neurology products in the UK & Ireland. The role works collaboratively to provide HEOR and market access solutions that support an integrated market access plan.

As Market Access Lead for General Medicines and Neurology, you will lead your team of Health economists and Value & Access Manager on the development of health economic and outcomes evidence to optimise patient access to Sanofi General Medicines and Neurology products in the UK & Ireland. The role works collaboratively to provide HEOR and market access solutions that support an integrated market access plan.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and support your team on the development of submissions for new products or new indications to HTA organisations.
  • Maintains and shares up to date knowledge of UK/IE HTA guidelines and processes and keeps abreast of HTA developments to ensure that the most suitable methods are employed
  • Collaborates with internal functions such as the commercial and medical teams on
  • development of the submission and submission strategy
  • Support you team to project manage the submission and response process and ensures all key stakeholders are kept informed of progress (internal and external)
  • Manages external vendors as required
  • Lead on the generation of HEOR evidence that demonstrates the value of Sanofi products and ensures optimal access for patients.

Support Your Team To

  • Conduct landscape and gap analyses to support the development of an integrated evidence generation plan
  • Work closely alongside Medical teams, field based colleagues and the Global teams to develop the evolving the evidence base/value messages for products to meet the needs of the UK/IE market
  • Conduct high quality, timely evidence generation to support access to Sanofi’s portfolio
  • Provide input into global evidence generation projects to ensure outputs will meet UKIE needs
  • Collaborates with brand team to secure resource for proposed HEOR projects
  • Lead and support your team on the collaboration with new product planning team and global teams to formulate early UKIE plans for pipeline assets
  • Uses expertise to inform UK assessment of pipeline assets
  • Supports development of early evidence generation plans
  • Collaborates with global team on early scientific advice projects

About You

  • Master’s qualification in Health Economics
  • Experience in HEOR either in agency and/or a healthcare company
  • HTA submission is a must
  • Attention to detail and organisation focus
  • Strong team player with cross-team working ability
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities at the same time
