The Opportunity

In this role, you serve as the strategic communications specialist for global brand and Therapeutic Area (TA) Communications, partnering closely with business teams to develop and execute impactful, data-driven strategies that strengthen brand positioning, build stakeholder trust, and drive market engagement.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial and Medical Affairs stakeholders to ensure communication strategies are aligned with scientific and commercial objectives.

Ideally, you bring experience working on global brands within a pharmaceutical company or agency setting, giving you the ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments and deliver communications that resonate across diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serving as the primary communications lead for global brand/TA teams, driving strategy co-creation and alignment across commercial communications networks.
  • Leading the development and execution of impactful external brand/TA communication strategies informed by deep business insights and scientific understanding.
  • Driving robust planning and content creation to support global media engagement and elevate brand/TA narratives, including executive thought leadership.
  • Providing strategic communications counsel and manage responses to brand/TA-related issues that could affect stakeholder trust or company reputation.
  • Developing and implementing internal brand/TA communication strategies that inspire global teams and align with organisational goals.

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • Extensive experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare communications
  • Proven success in leading and executing global or multi-market brand communication strategies within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
  • Skilled in transforming complex scientific and medical data into compelling, compliant messaging that enhances brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver high-impact, multi-market projects in dynamic, matrixed environments.
  • Well-versed in regulatory policies, compliance protocols, and established industry standards.

Preferred Experience

  • Adept at fostering collaboration across diverse, global teams while building trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in communications, life sciences, business, or equivalent

Additional Information

  • This is a permanent, full-time position
  • This position is based in the United Kingdom
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 day per quarter in our local office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
