The Product Manager Opportunity:

In this exciting role, you'll work closely with the Business Development Manager for Services and Specialties, taking the lead in shaping and growing our Product Portfolio to unlock new levels of profitability. With direct ownership of key products and strategic influence across the business, you'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation, hitting ambitious targets, and making a real impact.

What your day might look like:

Drive Performance & Profitability:

Support annual budgeting and performance reviews, take proactive steps to meet targets, and implement pricing strategies to maximise margins.
Strategic Supplier Management:

Negotiate competitive supply and distribution agreements, manage key supplier relationships, and enhance service and delivery through Vendor Performance Management (VPM) and other tools.
Commercial & Stock Optimisation:

Coordinate with planners to forecast demand and manage stock levels, resolve availability issues, and tackle aged or unproductive inventory using Days Sales of Inventory (DSI) insights.
Product & Portfolio Development:

Identify and onboard new suppliers and products, lead successful product launches, and ensure team readiness with proper training.
Market & Sales Collaboration:

Partner with Marketing and Digital to maximise value-add opportunities, support sales teams with technical expertise, and engage with customers both virtually and in person.
Insight & Reporting:

Deliver actionable market intelligence to internal teams and suppliers, and provide clear, concise monthly business performance updates.

About you:

Strong commercial operator, with a proven track record in delivering growth and high motivational levels driving a desire to succeed
Good numeracy and statistics skills
Must have knowledge of Excel and current business tools (e.g. Salesforce, Tableau would be beneficial)
Ability to communicate efficiently and with candor and haste when required
Flexibility is required to meet the varying tasks that the role requires
You will strive for excellence in your accuracy of information whilst maintaining a calm approach
You should have the ability to meet all strict deadlines
You must be customer focused, providing excellent service, at all times and it is essential that youre a good team player
