Experienced Brake Press Setter / Operator

  • The company makes bespoke stainless-steel fabrications for the pharmaceutical industry.

  • They are based in Tyseley Birmingham.

  • This is permanent job.

    Duties as a Brake Press Setter/Operator:

  • Make one off components from stainless steel 1mm to 3mm thick occasionally 5mm.

  • Reading and interpret technical drawings and specifications to make the part.

  • Set up and operate Amada CNC press brake machine.

  • Make tool changes and adjust machine settings for specific jobs.

    Hours of work:

  • Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm

  • Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm.

    Pay

  • Commencing on £14.00 to £15.70 per hour dependent on experience.

  • This works out to £546 to £613 per week gross plus overtime.

    Overtime

  • Currently working 1 hour a day overtime from 6.30am paid at 1.5 with potentially 4 hours on Saturday.

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Pay: Up to £613.00 per week

    Benefits:

  • Company pension

  • Free parking

    Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
