The Role
As a key member of our Metal Shop team, you'll programme and operate CNC brake presses to fabricate stainless steel panels. This position with added responsibility for supporting, mentoring, and training others.
You’ll work from technical drawings, maintain high quality standards, and help us continuously improve our processes.
Key Responsibilities


  • Programme and operate CNC brake presses (including Ermak CNC HAP 3160)

  • Interpret and work from detailed engineering/manufacturing drawings

  • Maintain excellent standards of accuracy, finish, and safety

  • Use related shop equipment confidently (e.g. guillotines, rollers, grinders, drills)

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work area

  • Train and support team members, sharing expertise and best practice

What You’ll Need
2–3 years' experience operating and setting up CNC brake press machines
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Background in sheet metal fabrication
Focused on quality, safety, and collaborative working
Desirable (but not essential)


  • Experience with Radan software

  • Familiarity with CNC punch machines

  • Confident mentoring or training colleagues
