Purpose of the role

As Bid Manager, you will play a key role in securing new business and retaining existing contracts by leading the end-to-end bid process. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will work closely with Account Directors and the Head of Sales to develop and submit compelling bids and tenders that align with Movianto’s ambitious growth strategy.

You’ll craft professionally written proposals that highlight our strengths and value-driven logistics solutions, ensuring success in competitive tendering processes across the healthcare sector. Managing multiple bids at once, you will oversee structured and efficient submission processes, making a direct impact on our growth.


How you’ll make an impact at as a Bid Manager at Movianto:

  • Managing all aspects of the bid process, from pre-engagement to submission and post-bid analysis.
  • Developing clear, compelling responses that showcase our capabilities and value propositions.
  • Coordinating internal stakeholders, scheduling bid timelines, and ensuring timely submissions.
  • Conducting detailed quality control and peer reviews before bid submissions.
  • Researching client requirements, industry trends, and competitors to strengthen proposals.
  • Maintaining and updating our bid library and tender pipeline within Salesforce.
  • Leading value proposition sessions and developing bid storyboards.
  • Monitoring tender portals and identifying relevant opportunities for Movianto.


What it will take to thrive as a Bid Manager at Movianto:

  • Proven experience in managing bids and tenders in a corporate, B2B setting.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and organisation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Excel.

Desirable skills:

  • Experience in logistics, warehousing, or transport.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical, NHS, or wider healthcare industry.
