Bid Manager EMEA - French - based in Newcastle or Strasbourg - £55K-£75K + benefits


We have an excellent new opening, due to growth, for an experienced mid-senior level Bid Manager with fluent French. Reporting to the company Director, you will form part of the Bid/Tender team where you will be working on bids across EMEA. The position can be equally based in the UK, Newcastle area or Strasbourg. Both locations require regular/daily on site presence from initial employment, offering potential hybrid at a later date.


Your primary objective will be the responsibility of the entire bid management process. You will be making and supporting strategic decisions deciding business opportunities to pursue. You will ensure that all bids are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the company's long-term goals. You will collaborate with a cross functional team including design and M&E and work closely with Leadership to produce proposals that meet client needs and drive growth.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Estimating or Commercial roles, ideally in the high-tech construction industry such as pharmaceutical, semiconductor, data centre or similar.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills, with a talent for negotiation and a proactive, 'win-win' mindset.
  • Understanding of the Construction Project industry, with M&E experience being essential.
  • Relevant qualifications in civil or structural engineering are preferred
  • Experience of multiple markets, specifically the UK and Europe.
  • Professionally proficient in English and French with additional German as highly desirable.
