A new opportunity for a Lead Project Manager to work with a successful global leader in engineering solutions that have operated for over 100 years. A highly respected business who specialises in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation (MEICA) services, offering comprehensive solutions from design and project management to electrical, mechanical, and technology services.

Their in-house team ensures consistency and reliability, operating across various sectors and projects such as Power and Energy, Pharmaceuticals, Nuclear, Industrial, Food and Beverages, Transportation, and Water. A company that are proud to be known as a trusted partner for numerous blue-chip companies, for some of the biggest and most well know businesses that you would have definitely heard of before.

The role is based at their modern, well kitted office in Falkirk which is known as a great place to work. A fantastic opportunity to work for one of the best and most respected design and build businesses in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of projects (£10k–£15m) from handover to completion.

  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary internal teams (Design, Manufacturing, Site, etc.) and external stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and documentation.

  • Lead risk management and change control, escalating issues where necessary.

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, technical standards, and H&S requirements.

  • Act as the primary client contact, maintaining strong, professional relationships.

  • Monitor project budgets, forecasting cost-to-complete, and maintain gross margin targets.

  • Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors to manage contract obligations (NEC4 experience preferred).

  • Ensure timely invoicing, variations, and compensation event submissions.

  • Support bid preparation and provide accurate input on resources, costs, and timelines.

  • Fulfil CDM Principal Contractor/Designer duties, preparing and reviewing RAMS documentation.

  • Ensure all site-specific safety protocols are in place and adhered to.

  • Assign appropriate Authorised Persons and ensure site activities are managed safely and compliantly.

  • Carry out regular site inspections and safety audits.
