Technical Services Lead - Facilities Management - Kinsale, Cork - 70,000 Euro's Plus excellent benefits.

This company, a global player in the FM world, require a Technical Services Lead to be based at their world class client's site in Kinsale, Cork. The Technical Services Lead will be an astute, analytical minded individual tasked with proactively ensuring, in a front-line, hands-on fashion, the deliverance of technical services and maintaining excellence in Facilities Management.

An outstanding opportunity to become part of truly first-rate facilities and play an integral role in substantiating its operational excellence.

Salary: 70,000 Euro's plus excellent benefits.

Benefits to include Health insurance, 10% bonus, 6% pension, subsidised canteen, on site gym, free parking.

Location: Kinsale, Cork

Hours of work: 39 hour working week, Monday to Friday

Technical Services Lead Responsibilities:

Responsible for the operational management of building and engineering services for Technical Services and for the management of the site scope, including staff management.
Overall responsibility for ensuring that engineering maintenance, including contract work, is carried out to appropriate standards and specifications.
Undertake Authorized Person responsibilities in relation to specified systems.
The day-to-day commercial management of the site management and operation. Developing, implementing and managing energy policies for the site. Management operation and implementation of the Permit to Work system and Safe Systems at work.
Commercial management of the operational element of the contract, including management of the Performance Monitoring systems and to ensure Contract and Commercial Compliance.
The cost-effective delivery of a Planned Preventative Maintenance Service.
The management of a reactive maintenance service during normal operating hours of the site and out of operating hours.
Line manager for estates operational staff
Carryout PDR staff assessments and identifying areas for improvementThe Ideal Candidate:

Experience of working in critical environments ideally with experience in Pharmaceuticals or FMCG or manufacturing.
Experience in building services and plant engineering
BIFM Level 5 / Level 8 Engineering Degree or QQI level 6 trade background with equivalent experience.
Trouble shooting with experience in maintenance technical issues
Experience in water hygiene regulations
Awareness of Maximo, CMMS or equivalent
Proven experience of managing a maintenance team and achieving SLA's
Excellent communication both written and verbal
Numerate and computer literate
High level of interpersonal skills with ability to deal with people at all levels and disciplines
