Job Title: Advanced Clinical Pharmacist – Haematology, Oncology, Palliative Care & Technical Services

  • Location: Norfolk

  • Salary: Band 8A

  • Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week

  • Contract Type: Permanent

    We are currently seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to join our dedicated Cancer Services team

    This is an exciting Band 8A opportunity for a motivated pharmacy professional to work across Haematology, Oncology, Palliative Care, and Technical Services. You’ll play a key clinical and leadership role in delivering high-quality, patient-focused pharmacy services.

    Key Responsibilities:



Deliver a specialist clinical pharmacy service to oncology and haematology inpatients, the Chemo Day Unit, and Day Treatment Unit.

Validate and screen chemotherapy prescriptions and support aseptic production services.

*

Provide expert pharmaceutical care to palliative care patients and support safe prescribing practices.

*

Act as an authorised pharmacist in Pharmacy Technical Services ensuring adherence to GMP.

*

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and support service development and audits.

*

Train, supervise, and appraise junior pharmacists and trainees.

*

Contribute to clinical guideline development and input into the Electronic Patient Records system.

Requirements:

*

Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

*

Significant post-registration clinical pharmacy experience, ideally within oncology, haematology, or palliative care.

*

Independent prescribing qualification (or working towards it).

*

Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and aseptic services.

*

Proven leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
