Site Manager – Midlands – Pharmaceutical

Our client is a €500m turnover, multi-disciplined main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake large turnkey projects for blue-chip clientele, in Europe the focus is on Data Centres and similar tech-focussed projects. In Ireland they operate as more of a generalist main contractor working across a variety of industry sectors including healthcare / hospitals, residential, education and industrial.

Due to a recent project win, our client is now seeking a Site Manager in the midlands.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Daily Site Operations: Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities within a live or greenfield pharmaceutical environment, ensuring strict adherence to project schedules, GMP standards, and safety protocols.

  • Quality & Compliance Oversight: Ensure all works are executed to the highest standards of quality, with a strong focus on cleanroom construction, controlled environments, and compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, FDA, TGA).

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with consultants, engineers, and the client’s validation and QA teams to ensure alignment between construction progress and qualification protocols.

  • Subcontractor Management: Supervise specialist contractors (e.g., HVAC, process services, clean utilities) to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with highly technical specifications.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough site records, including daily logs, compliance documentation, and progress reports, contributing to validation documentation and audit readiness.

    Requirements

    Must have 4+ years’ experience in a similar role

    Must have experience on Pharmaceutical construction projects or similar large construction projects

    Degree level qualification is preferred

    Benefits

    €75,000 - €80,000 + Benefits
