The Senior Manager Strategy: Resin, Filtration, Media is responsible for contributing to the strategic direction of Cytiva’s Resin, Filtration, and Cell Culture Media businesses. The Senior Manager will partner with senior leaders to define business priorities and inform key decisions, opportunities, and investments by effectively framing key questions and executing research to understand market trends, competition, and Cytiva’s position.

This position reports to the Senior Director Strategy: Resin, Filtration, Media and is part of the global Strategy Team that supports the Resins, Filtration, and Media businesses. It is an on-site role and can be located in Marlborough, MA, USA; Logan, UT, USA; Amersham, UK; Uppsala, SWE.

What you will do:

Support the formation of a coherent 3-5 year strategic plan in collaboration with business leaders, serving as designated contact during the annual strategy process
Coordinate and conduct market and competitor analyses, both qualitative and quantitative, across regions and customer segments, to support strategic planning, decisions, and initiatives, in alignment with other workstream leaders
Drive strategic initiatives that improve Cytiva’s capabilities and/or drive further clarity in commercial, research and development, innovation, and portfolio strategy beyond the annual strategic plan
Support the assessment of key decisions, opportunities, and investments: Contribute to evaluating situations, making recommendations and mobilizing Cytiva’s response
Maintain alignment with other business units and functions with the aspiration to build strong relationships with business unit and functional teams; further seek to become the go-to partner for these teams and strategic topics
Ensure the development of clear, concise, data-driven presentations to senior leaders that effectively convey answers and recommendations

Who you are:

Undergraduate degree in a scientific or technical field with 5+ years of top tier consulting or corporate strategy experience, ideally with a focus on the Life Science industry
Top-tier MBA or other graduate degree with 2+ years of top tier consulting or corporate strategy experience, ideally with a focus on the Life Science/bioprocessing industry
Sharp business acumen, analytical and critical thinker, with the ability to truly understand customer needs, and a fundamental understanding of the biopharma industry and drug development, e.g., from consulting casework
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a broad array of stakeholders, including technical subject matter experts and senior executives
Strong project management, leadership, and facilitation skills, including experience with overseeing matrix team/stakeholder structures, and gaining alignment across all levels of the organization

The salary range for this role is $160,000 to $180,000 . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
