The Senior Product Manager will execute business strategy by developing and introducing new products, technologies, and business models. They will use customer and market feedback to define go-to-market strategies, develop value propositions, and lead NPI developments.

This portfolio leader will gain an in-depth understanding of the chromatography resins market for bioprocesses, including competitive landscape, customer insights, market trends, regulatory requirements, and internal operations.

A Day in the life

  • Responsible for developing, managing, and sustaining new and existing products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Define global market segmentation and positioning strategy for the product portfolio, collaborating with marketing, operations, field applications, commercial, quality, and R&D to meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Translate product vision into clear definitions for the development team using user feedback, requirements, and wireframes, and lead NPDI processes from scope creation to launch and commercialization.
  • Develop and implement Go-To-Market strategies for new products, including marketing plans, customer content, and field training.
  • Develop processes to manage and address key metrics like win/loss, CAS, product vitality, and price realization.
  • Support global sales and field applications teams in customer interactions and expedite customer requests on quality or performance, using PPI methodology to improve metrics and efficiency.

Keys to Success

Education

  • A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a life science field.

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in product management, product development, R&D, marketing, sales, consulting, or related areas is essential.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with cross functional teams.
  • Strong customer focus, ownership and drive.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Possess the ability to effectively communicate value propositions and technical information to customers and internal audiences.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
