Senior Legal Counsel, Contract Opportunity

Start Date: September 2025

Day Rate or Salary

About the Company

This leading healthcare business is a key player in the manufacture, supply and distribution of healthcare and pharmaceutical services, personalised healthcare products, health tech and diagnostics. Operating in more than 50 countries, the business is complex and offers its legal team quality and varied work.

The Opportunity

The business now has a need for a Commercial lawyer to join as a Senior Legal Counsel on a long term contract (15+ months.) The position will support the international business, providing legal support on broad commercial matters relating to logistics, manufacturing, contracting with third parties and outsourcing as well as more specialist commercial advice and contracts in a healthcare or pharmaceutical context.

The position is part of a cohesive and collegiate legal team and is largely remote, apart from a day a week in the Surrey office. Given the international nature of the role, there will be some travel from time to time.

About You

The position will best suit a general commercial lawyer, most likely with in-house experience and ideally with experience in international markets. The ability to pivot from a negotiation in one country to a different matter in another country fairly quickly is key. Any experience in logistics, manufacturing, healthcare or even the pharmaceutical sector would be useful.

The position will suit an individual looking for high quality work in an interesting international business and within a supportive and collegiate team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate sensitively through highly complex matters is also essential.

The role can be offered on a day rate or salary capacity.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known healthcare business in a key role for the international legal team, starting September 2025.
