The Opportunity

As EHS Manager, you’ll lead all environmental, health, and safety compliance for their UK operations. You’ll be the driving force behind embedding a positive safety culture, ensuring legal compliance, and guiding strategic EHS improvements across manufacturing and laboratory environments. Leading a team of EHS professionals, you’ll work closely with senior leaders to influence decision-making and safeguard both people and the environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and inspire the UK EHS team.
  • Act as the in-house expert on UK EHS legislation and compliance.
  • Maintain and improve ISO14001 & ISO45001 certifications.
  • Partner with operational teams to assess and manage EHS risks.
  • Liaise with UK regulatory bodies and manage external audits.
  • Lead investigations, implement corrective actions, and share learnings.
  • Develop and deliver long-term EHS strategy across all UK sites.
  • Support COMAH compliance and process safety initiatives.
  • Travel in the UK and internationally (up to 20%).


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven EHS leadership experience in manufacturing and/or R&D (pharma preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of UK EHS regulations and risk management systems.
  • NEBOSH Diploma (CSP or CIH a plus).
  • Experience managing ISO accreditations.
  • Skilled in data analysis and driving measurable improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
