The Opportunity


An internationally renowned law firm is seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Associate to join its Litigation & Dispute Resolution team, focusing on product liability matters within the life sciences and healthcare sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile, complex litigation involving pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies.

You will play a pivotal role in defending clients against product-related claims – from individual actions to multi-party and cross-border disputes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of regulatory issues and civil litigation strategy, and be passionate about advising clients whose products have a direct impact on human health and well-being.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage a caseload of complex product liability disputes, often involving regulated products in the life sciences and healthcare sectors
  • Develop and implement early-stage litigation strategies to mitigate legal risk and cost exposure
  • Act for clients in class actions, mass tort litigation, and high-stakes individual claims
  • Collaborate with multi-jurisdictional teams to provide seamless and strategic legal advice
  • Advise on the interplay between product liability and regulatory frameworks, including criminal implications where applicable
  • Work directly with clients to understand their business needs and deliver commercially focused legal solutions
  • Contribute to thought leadership, internal know-how, and mentoring junior team members


About You

  • England & Wales qualified solicitor with 4–7 years’ post-qualification experience in litigation
  • Significant experience in product liability litigation.
