Position Overview

As a Senior Consultant on the HTA and Market Access team, you will be a client point of contact and carry out the account management responsibilities, oversee projects, lead and manage project teams, and contribute to the development of the HTA and Market Access team within the Putnam Evidence group. You will be responsible for managing, supporting, and providing strategic input on evidence generation and developing value communications in the field of health economics, including disease burden, clinical trials, health-related quality of life and cost-effectiveness evaluations. You will ensure the team produces high quality, client ready materials through providing input at all stages of the project process. You will also share responsibility for leading, mentoring and line managing junior team members.

This position is available in Germany (remote) or out of our Newcastle, UK office

Skills And Experience

Minimum of BSc/MSc in life sciences with a minimum 5-6 years of MA/HTA/SLR/HEOR access experience
Also open to a PhD in life sciences and a minimum of 5 -6 years of MA/HTA/SLR/HEOR experience
Significant breadth of experience across multiple HTA and market access project types and disease areas or significant depth/specialism in a market access-related discipline;
An excellent understanding of the global payer environment, including coverage, reimbursement and pricing
Proven ability to lead teams of scientists and market access strategists in a project-based environment.
Significant experience in NICE, GBA, and/or JCA dossiers a plus

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Day to day project management and client point of contact/key account management with responsibility for the sign-off of deliverables for:
pragmatic and systematic literature reviews of clinical efficacy/effectiveness, health related quality of life, health economics, epidemiology and treatment guidelines;
performing and drawing conclusions from HTA reviews;
medical writing including value dossiers and peer-reviewed manuscripts;
developing and testing value propositions and related value messaging to support market access for our clients;
value communications projects such as global value dossiers and objection handlers to support market access;
landscaping analysis, HTA and pricing research, and analysis;
preparing, conducting and summarizing primary research;
supporting development of documents needed for early HTA advice (including briefing book);
supporting development of market access strategy including positioning scenarios and evidence generation plan;
Supporting workshops and ad boards preparation and organization
Weekly reporting on project progress as part of the research science leadership meetings;
Management of project budgets, timelines and resource requirements;
Proactive in identifying and assessing developments in the HTA and payer environment and implementing change as required;
Client point of contact and management of HTA submissions and HTA submission dossiers;
Management of project budgets and resource requirements;
Responsible for the full content, costings and timely delivery of proposals to clients;
Responsible for identifying improvements in processes and implementing them in discussion with the lead scientific and strategy team;
Accurate knowledge and use of the company procedures;
Keeping confidential any information relating to the company;
