What You'll Do

TheSr. Business Account Managerwill be responsible for expanding and increasing revenue within pharmaceutical/biotech clients and prospects in the European market. The Sr. Business Account Manager is charged with relationship development and promotional efforts within existing and new accounts in the territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand and accelerate the growth of our business
  • Collaborate with internal teams (scientists, developers, project managers) to effectively provide and develop solutions to customers' scientific needs
  • Perform end-to-end sales engagements, compliant with internal processes to achieve revenue plan
  • Transform marketing and sales leads into opportunities
  • Manage weekly sales expectations and forecasts
  • Manage the request for proposals from clients or prospects
  • Manage negotiation with the customer by complying with all Rancho engagement processes and be responsible for processing all needed paperwork such as MSA, SOWs, NDAs etc.
  • Travel will be required, up to 25% for client visits, conferences and trade shows


What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Life Sciences is preferred, including Biology, Chemistry, Oncology, or other related field.
  • 5+ years in a sales/business development role in the Life Sciences industry including Biology, Chemistry, Medical Sciences, or other related field.
  • Goal-oriented individual with a strong desire to be in promotional role; have core skills of customer service orientation, initiative, planning and follow up, work management, and judgment/problem solving.
  • Demonstrates change agility; accountability; takes/seeks feedback; the ability to be connected to others; remote collaboration with cross-functional internal teams.
  • Market place and business acumen, stakeholder management; and understanding the business priorities.
  • Experience achieving/exceeding a sales quota.
  • Experience working with large sales amounts and volume.
  • Experience selling professional services.
  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within reasonable established timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of scientists, management and clients.
  • Travel is required - up to 25% for client visits, conferences and trade shows.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, PowerPoint & SFDC.
