Job title: Sales Manager UK

As UK Sales Manager, you will lead UK Sales to achieve sales targets across the UK region. This role will work closely with the UK team to develop and implement plans for selected Key accounts, ensuring that goals are exceeded, and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve regional business and financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

Executes on the United Kingdom growth plan in line with the UK-commercial strategy and overall business objectives
Network with key opinion leaders, reference customers and distributors to drive the business
Assume leadership of regional sales team and seek for organizational development
Monitor UK sales performance and provides regular feedback to the European commercial leadership as well as personnel; provides UK Forecast on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Proposes regional marketing activities and justifies them by defining return of investment like seminars, regional trade shows, exhibitions, etc.

Requirements:

A Scientific or commercial degree in a scientific or related discipline.
At least 10 years previous experience in selling complex, capital investments and associated consumables, that requiring intensive technical understanding, preferably in the field of Genomics, Cell Biology, Drug Discovery
Experience in the Automation, Liquid Handling or Detection markets are an advantage.
Strong leadership and managerial qualities with a large network and high business orientation (broad experience in industry)
