Sales Executive - ChemistryRuncorn (Office based)Up to £35,000Temporary to Permanent (see below)A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our clients growing sales team for a motivatedSales Executive. The role will play a vital role in managing key customer accounts working with chemistry, procurement, and finance teams within research institutions and chemical industries the supply chemistry and chemical services to.This dynamic role involves providing exceptional technical support and customer service to help customers meet their chemistry needs and drive their R&D and process development projects forward.You will build and nurture long-term business relationships, contributing to the company's commercial success.Key areas of responsibility:Handle technical inquiries via phone and email (for services in Contract Development, Custom Synthesis, Analytical Chemistry and other R&D activities)Manage the current customers and expand their customer basePresent technical solutions tailored to peoples needs, drawing on your background in chemistryCollaborate with a busy sales team and liaise with clients and suppliersMaintain customer communication regarding day-to-day important things like delivery schedules and generally be their point of contact keeping them in the loopSupport business development efforts across the UK mainly and Europe. As you become more established in the business there is progression to European and more Global opportunities.Skills & Experience Required:Minimum BSc in Chemistry or related fieldStrong organizational and administrative skillsExperience of working in a sales / client focussed roleA doer by which we mean this is a dynamic hard working team that requires someone who is keen to get things done, work with a good cadence, and self motivationProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Positive, flexible attitude with the ability to adapt and work under pressure for example client deadlines or dealing with unexpected issuesThe role will initially be offered on the basis of a 6 month fixed-term contract and then become a permanent role in the business once probation is passed. You will then progress into qualifying for the bonus scheme, which will become active in year 2 of the role. The company also offers free onsite car parking.
