Position: Sales Account Manager – Industrial IoT Solutions

Location:England (Remote)


About the Role


Impetus Executive is seeking a dynamic and results-orientedSales Account Managerto lead the growth of our client’s Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions business. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and overseeing -pre-sales processes for smart factory and energy monitoring technologies.


Our client is a global technology company providing AI-powered industrial energy monitoring and smart factory solutions across Europe and the Middle East. Their solutions span across steam trap monitoring, boiler efficiency, compressed air systems, cooling technologies, and indoor air quality monitoring.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote IIoT-based energy monitoring and smart factory solutions
  • Identify and engage with potential clients in the manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure sectors
  • Deliver technical presentations and collaborate with engineering teams to design tailored solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and closing
  • Maintain strong post-sales relationships to drive customer satisfaction and upsell opportunities
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure smooth onboarding, training, and system implementation
  • Analyze customer data through the IoT platform to support performance improvements and ROI reporting


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. (Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial energy systems, automation, or IoT technologies
  • Proven track record in B2B technical sales or solution selling
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
  • Strong customer focus, problem-solving mindset, and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel and meet clients on-site
  • Valid driver's license


Preferred Qualifications


  • Strong existing network with decision-makers such as Plant Managers, Energy Managers, Process Managers, and Maintenance Managers in industries such as Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, Pulp & Paper, Power Plants, and Oil & Gas is a significant advantage
