Job Title: Refrigeration Engineer (Mobile – Hampshire/South East)
Location: Hampshire / Sussex / Surrey (Field-Based Role)
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Holidays: 30 days (including bank holidays)

About the Role

An experienced Mobile Refrigeration Engineer is required for a field-based role covering Hampshire and the surrounding counties. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out service calls, maintenance, fault finding, and installation work on various commercial refrigeration systems.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and experience in servicing integral cabinets, cold room systems, and a small amount of air-conditioning equipment.

Key Responsibilities



Attend breakdowns and perform fault diagnosis on refrigeration systems

*

Carry out scheduled maintenance and service visits

*

Install and commission cold room systems, including pipework and control wiring

*

Provide a professional and customer-focused service on-site

*

Complete all job-related documentation accurately and on time

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

*

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial refrigeration

*

Strong knowledge of cold rooms, integral cabinets, and related systems

*

F-Gas certified and holding relevant refrigeration/HVAC qualifications

*

Experience with cold room installations (pipework and control wiring)

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently

Desirable:

*

Basic air-conditioning knowledge

*

Experience working in sectors such as food, retail, logistics, or pharmaceuticals

*

Electrical/control wiring experience
