We are offering a unique opportunity to become part of a growing team of refrigeration installation specialists working globally within the pharmaceutical and biological industries.

Based in Irlam, Manchester with frequent international travel

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Refrigeration Installation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing refrigeration and chilled water systems, handling a wide range of temperature applications—from high to cryogenic—across various international projects.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Install refrigeration and chilled water systems to high technical standards

  • Interpret and work from isometric drawings to ensure precise pipework installation

  • Understand all phases of installation projects from initial planning to final commissioning

  • Apply health and safety best practices throughout all activities

  • Insulate pipework using templates and appropriate tools to ensure a professional finish

  • Install containment systems as needed

  • Conduct and certify pressure testing procedures

  • Manage and organize materials effectively

  • Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

  • Approach challenges with a proactive and solution-focused mindset

    Comfortable with face-to-face customer interaction and capable of handling situations diplomatically and tactfully

    Maintains a professional appearance in line with company standards

    Qualifications & Experience:

    City & Guilds or NVQ in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

    BRA or equivalent brazing competency qualification

    F-Gas Category 1 certification

    Experience years of hands-on installation experience

    Proficiency in PC software including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Oracle

    Full, clean UK driving license

    Valid passport (required for international travel)
