QC Chemist

Working exclusively with an international advanced pharmaceutical company, I am currently supporting an additional hire into the expanding team for their facility in Surrey.

This position is a hands on QC / Quality Control Scientist, fully focused on analytical chemistry in a high grade cleanroom environment. HPLC and GC will form a staple of the analytical testing but, crucially, this is done alongside the manufacturing processes and therefore speed, flexibility and adaptability are essential qualities.

This position will be shift based and include nights – naturally a flexible mindset is needed for this type of work. You will need to have access to your own transport, given the location is not accessible via public transport for some of the shifts.

If you have some established QC / Analytical Chemistry experience and would like to join a business that has a clear and visible training pathway from day one, please apply below or call Mark Bux-Ryan for further details.

Key experience:

  • Educated to degree (or equivalent level) in a Life Sciences subject

  • Previous quality control (QC) / analytical chemistry experience

  • Experience and/or understanding of chromatography techniques including HPLC and GC.

  • A solid understanding of GMP principles – or at least the ability to work to strict regulated procedures

  • Flexible to work shifts

  • Must have own transport to access the site due to shift work

QC, quality, control, analyst, analytical, laboratory, GMP, entry, graduate, science, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing, shift, GC, HPLC, chromatography
