A manufacturer of specialist pharmaceuticals are currently seeking a QC Chemist to join the team at their site in Guildford. The role will involve the QC Testing of pharmaceutical products. This is an ideal opportunity if you are a graduate (MSc or BSc) of a relevant scientific discipline and have some working experience in an analytical/QC role in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.


Role Overview

  • Permanent Full time, predominantly night shifts.
  • £33,450 starting salary.
  • Routine Analysis of pharmaceutical products in line with cGMP and company standards.
  • Utilise a range of analytical techniques and equipment including HPLC, GC, RTLC, LAL and Gamma Spectrometer , to name a few.
  • Take part in maintenance and calibration of analytical equipment.
  • Ensure all records and documentation are completed in line with relevant regulations and standards.


Requirements

  • Experience of working in pharmaceutical QC is essential.
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in relevant Analytical Chemistry related discipline is essential.
  • Strong Practical Experience with HPLC, GC and TLC.
  • Must be able to work shifts that are predominantly nights, and will include occasional weekend work.
