Microsoft Power Platform Developer (Microsoft Power Platform and D365)

Location: Greater Manchester (Flexible office/home-based arrangements available)

Salary: £45-48k with company bonus and benefits.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Flexible office hours available)

Reporting to: Head of Business Intelligence

    Key Traits:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the industry, demonstrating progression and the ability to articulate best practices alongside development skills.
  • Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in Dynamics 365 Customisations, Workflow Design and Automation (Power Automate), and experience working within a Project Delivery team. Comfort with ambiguity and challenges in a regulated environment is essential.
  • Passion for Problem Solving: Enjoy designing solutions, focusing on business delivery, and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.

    Responsibilities:
  • Solution Development & Customisation: Design and implement custom solutions using Power Platform tools and Dynamics 365.
  • User Support & Training: Align processes with internal teams and provide necessary training materials.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with technical teams to integrate D365 with other systems using APIs, Power Platform Connectors, and Azure Logic Apps.
  • Data Management: Ensure data integrity and security within the Azure Power Platform and D365 environments.
  • Effective Collaboration: Work with external consultants and contribute to project activities, fostering relationships with Quality, IT, and Data teams.
  • Business Requirements Analysis: Translate business requests into technical requirements and develop delivery plans.
  • Business Intelligence: Create data sets and actionable insights through Power BI, supporting visualisation needs.
  • Roadmap Development: Contribute to departmental strategy and provide expertise to enhance customer value.
  • Mentorship & Best Practice: Share knowledge and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

    Person Specification:

    Essential:
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform and D365.
  • Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and D365 customisation.
  • Knowledge of Azure, Dataverse, SQL, and DAX.
  • Awareness of ALM, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in regulated industries or handling sensitive data.

    Desirable:
  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Awareness of cost and budget implications.
  • Experience in systems integration and identifying new synergies.
  • Interest in data and analytics.
  • Knowledge of Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
