An industry leading mechanical & electrical building services specialist are currently recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager, in accordance with an upcoming major life sciences project due to commence in the coming months. The business predominantly provides M&E design and installation services to the commercial office, data centre, education, healthcare, hotel & leisure, and residential sectors while working in partnership with a range of blue-chip main contractors.

Due to continuous business growth, the business now has an upcoming opening for a Mechanical Project Manager to lead a major life sciences & pharmaceutical project, located in Oxfordshire. This career opportunity will offer exposure to some of the UK’s most exciting construction projects, while working with a forward-thinking & supportive employer.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Attend pre-tender meetings.
  • Oversee preconstruction & procurement processes.
  • Management of site personnel (including schedule of works).
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in a timely & efficient manner.
  • Commercial acumen, regularly liaising with the internal commercial team with regards to costs of labour, procurement, final accounts etc.
  • Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, third party subcontractors and internal teams.
  • Build & maintain relationships with clients & supply chain.
  • MEP project management & site coordination.
  • Ensure HSE standards are adhered too.

Qualifications/ Education

  • Relevant building services or mechanical engineering qualification.
  • Experience managing mechanical building services projects valued upwards of £5 million.
  • Knowledge of construction regulations and best practices.
