Mechanical Project Manager - Mission-Critical Projects (Europe)

The Role:

We are seeking a highly capable Mechanical Project Manager to join our expanding delivery team. The right individual will be a strong communicator, a proactive organiser and problem-solver who takes ownership of projects from pre-construction through to handover.

You'll be delivering fast-paced, technically complex projects across Europe, working closely with experienced engineers, directors and construction teams to meet and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full lifecycle of mechanical projects, from planning through execution to final completion.

Collaborate with engineering, BIM, procurement, and QA teams to ensure design compliance and quality standards.

Track project progress using internal systems, maintaining tight control over cost, schedule, and scope.

Conduct site visits to monitor performance, resolve on-site challenges, and ensure HSE compliance.

Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

Lead on budget control, forecasting, and commercial reporting to senior leadership.

Produce weekly and monthly progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Work with directors and site teams to manage risk, resolve issues, and drive successful outcomes.

Support and develop a collaborative team culture across departments and projects.

What We're Looking For:

Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential).

5+ years' experience as a Project or Contracts Manager in the Mechanical or HVAC sector.

Background as a project engineer with deep knowledge of mechanical/process systems.

Demonstrable experience managing complex projects in regulated or high-tech environments.

Clear, confident communicator with excellent client-facing and team coordination skills.

Strong commercial awareness with an ability to manage budgets and drive value.

Willingness to travel across Europe as required for project delivery.

Full driving licence
