Business Development Manager

We are recruiting a Business Development Manager, with a specific focus on our Technology & Digital.

This role can be based out of our London, Birmingham, Leeds or Edinburgh Offices, and our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however as an inclusive employer, we are willing to consider any flexible working requests.

Candidate Overview

We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:

Experience in a similar BD / Marketing position – covering a broad spectrum of activities including but not limited to areas such as events, pursuits, pitches, case studies and capability documents.
Able to evidence exceptional writing skills, that not only engages audiences, but also displays the depth of technical skillset in a highly complex sector, across varied mediums (brochures, pitches, content etc).
Experience of creating targeted business plans and strategies, aimed at key clients, both current and potential.
Evidence of acting as a trusted advisor – this role covers sensitive / confidential clients, in a highly technical sector and therefore requires an individual who can build relationships first and foremost.
Able to work as an individual, to a high standard – this role is quality over quantity, and as such is stand alone in sector – but with support from the wider BD team where needed.

The first stage is typically conducted virtually and the second stage typically in person at the office in which the role would be based.
