Company Summary
We're supporting a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturer inSouth Waleswho is looking for an experiencedMaintenance Technicianto join their engineering team on a12-month contract.
This role is critical in maintaining production continuity by delivering bothplanned and reactive maintenanceon a wide range of equipment. If you’re hands-on, electrically biased, and thrive in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment — this could be a great fit.
Responsibilities;
- Perform maintenance on process equipment, HVAC systems, boilers, compressors, and more
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair
- Support integration of new machinery and continuous improvement projects
- Maintain GMP and safety standards during interventions
- Use CMMS tools (e.g., Maximo) to log activities and drive efficiency
Required Experience
- HNC/ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Completed engineering apprenticeship in a regulated industry
- Experience with cleanroom controls, HVAC, SCADA systems, and electrical systems (18th Edition knowledge preferred)
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms and safety protocols
- Able to work in varied environments (plant rooms, cleanrooms, shop floor, etc.)
