Role - Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

Salary - £42k + x4 death in service + 9% matched pension + x4 death in service + private medical care + fantastic training oppportunities

Location - Wakefield

Hours - Monday to Friday 6-2pm/ 1:18pm - 9pm with a 8pm finish on a Friday

I have an opportunity for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work for one of largest automated manufacturer of retail products within pharmaceutical, food, beverage and so much more.  The company turns over more than £30million. They have state of the art machines including various conveyor systems, palletisers and so much more. Their site in Wakefield is one of the longest standing sites within the business. They have a number of project and improvement work constantly going on.

This company are a true leader in their field, they can offer the right Maintenance Engineer excellent employee benefits, fantastic training and a great team to work with.  I’m looking for a team player who enjoys the culture of being in a maintenance team and someone who wants to bring positive energy to the table.

Maintenance Engineer Role:

Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance of the machinery on site which includes, conveyors, palletisers, pressers and so much more
Ensuring that any mechanical maintenance is carried out and any broken parts are replaced efficiently and effectively to reduce downtime.
Carry out electrical maintenance including schematics drawings, electrical test equipment such as multi-meters and fault finding on panels with components such as relays, sensors and contactors.
Assist with any continuous improvement / LEAN work that is carried out to improve the efficiency of the department
Skills/Experience required from the maintenance engineer:

NVQ Level 3, electrical apprenticeship or equivalent
Maintenance Engineering and Electrical Engineering knowledge
Knowledge of drives, sensors and PLC's
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Experience of working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
