Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join our dynamic engineering team in the pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting, along with expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics systems. Pharmaceutical industry experience is essential, as you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical equipment used in the production process.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Carry out electrical fault-finding, repairs, and preventive maintenance on machinery (control panels, PLCs, motors, drives).
  • Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ensure all work meets GMP, safety, and regulatory standards with accurate documentation.
  • Perform regular inspections to minimize downtime and respond quickly to breakdowns.
  • Work with engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with production and Quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Complete and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts used, and actions taken. Ensure all reports comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements.

Qualifications:

  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Additional qualifications in Hydraulics and Pneumatics are desirable.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and system repair, ideally within a pharmaceutical, food, or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including fault finding, repair, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with GMP and other industry regulations is essential. Experience working in a controlled, high standards environment.
