MERITUS are recruiting for a Lab Technician to join our client on a long term deal to work within their expanding Lab. The company is a prominent name within the aviation industry specialising in interesting materials and applications.

LAB TECHNICIAN - INSIDE IR35 - £14 PER HOUR - PAYE - LONG TERM - DARWEN, BLACKBURN - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the business in areas related to process control testing, process assurance, and special process control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct various types of process control tests, including sample preparation, result recording, and providing test declarations.
• Perform basic calibration tasks and manage the subcontract calibration needs of the business.
• Execute multiple process assurance verifications concerning the performance of manufacturing equipment and environments.
• Contribute to the analysis of technical issues and assist in investigative processes.
• Quality Culture:Promote a strong commitment to quality. Encourage others to adhere to best practices and address poor practices in a fair and firm manner. Foster a culture that emphasizes adherence to standards and expectations at all times.
• Quality Management System:Play a key role in ensuring effective compliance with the quality management system (QMS). While the QMS is owned by the respective teams, the Lab Technician is responsible for ensuring that its requirements are communicated and followed within their specific areas.
