Contract Type: Full-time | Permanent

Salary: Negotiable + Sodexo Benefits

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Full UK driving license needed.

Sodexo is seeking a dynamic and experienced Grounds Manager to oversee multi-site grounds operations at a high-profile pharmaceutical campus. You'll be at the heart of delivering outstanding service, ensuring operational excellence, safety, and sustainability across multiple sites.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop grounds teams across Stevenage, Harlow, and Cockrell Close, fostering a high-performance and zero-harm culture.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of grounds maintenance including landscaping, gritting, tree care, and environmental support.
  • Drive compliance with health, safety, environmental, and fleet regulations.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, absence and performance management in line with Sodexo HR policies.
  • Monitor KPIs, manage service tickets (e.g., ServiceNow), and ensure strong stakeholder engagement and client satisfaction.
  • Champion sustainability and biodiversity initiatives aligned with GSK's environmental goals.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience managing grounds or FM services across multiple sites.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Health & Safety compliance knowledge and zero-harm mindset.
  • Experience in HR processes (conduct, grievances, absence management).
  • IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, Salesforce, SAP).
  • Full UK driving license.

Desirable:

  • Conflict and change management experience
  • COSHH, HAVS, and Working at Height awareness
