TeamConsultingisoffering an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Contracts Manager to join our commercial team. Our Commercial team is headed up by our Commercial Director, and this role will report to the Head of Contracts.The Contracts team, whilst small, plays a vital role within the Commercial department and wider business using their knowledge and experience to successfully conclude contracts with our extensive portfolio of clients as well as suppliers. Their early involvement with clients is key in establishing strong contractual relationships. They consistently deliver a high level of service, ensuring contractual rigour, professionalism and take pride in their work.
Team has an exciting breadth of clients, that range from start-ups to some of the world’s largest pharmaceuticaland Med-Techcompanies. For each client wehave tonegotiate and comply with bespoke framework agreements for the supply of services.
The variation of clients and suppliers evolves as Team develops into new sectors, consequently there are always opportunities for new learning and challenges. You will work closely with your colleagues from across the business and where required with our external legal counsel.
In this varied and stimulating role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Leading and supporting new contracts andnegotiations,which range in complexity and challenge, including:
Master ServiceAgreements(overarching contractual clauses)
Task Order/Statement of Work (details the services to be performed)
Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure Agreements(CDAs/NDAs)
Associate Framework Agreements
Intellectual Property Agreements
Providing legal support, training and awareness to the Commercial department and the business.
Maintaining contracts with existing client and suppliers, by being point of contact.
We welcome applications from candidates looking to work full time (37 hours per week) or part time (minimum of 30 hours per week). This position offers the flexibility of hybrid work arrangements, with a minimum of 60% of time in the office. Team supplies IT equipment to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for working from home days.

Qualifications & Skill
Qualified to a degreelevel, or equivalent
Experience of negotiating and managing contracts in a serviceorganisation
Sound understanding of contractlaw
Good understanding of GDPR principles
Comprehensive understanding of commercial risk
Good organisational skills to manage and maintain documentations; and to co-ordinate efforts both inside and outside ofTeam
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
Previous in-house experience
Experience of managing contracts in a technology consultingorganisation
Experience of working in a business that developsproducts
Experience of the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
Awareness andknowledge of IR35 legislation
Personal Qualities

Ability to make and influence decisions both within the company and external contractingparties
Resourceful and willing to take responsibility for owntasks
Excellent attention to detail
