Contracts Manager (or Project Manager Looking to Progress)

Location: Cork

Salary: Up to €100K + car allowance + excellent benefits

We are partnering with a well-established, industry-leading contractor to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager or a Project Manager looking to progress into a Contracts Manager role for their Cork office. This business delivers high-value construction projects across a mix of sectors, including industrial, pharmaceutical, commercial, and high-end residential.

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will take full ownership of 1–2 contracts at a time, managing the entire delivery process from pre-construction to handover. You'll report directly to the Regional Director and be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, commercial, and programme performance across each project.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of projects, overseeing all site activity, teams, and subcontractors
Ensure delivery to programme, budget, and safety standards
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
Lead reporting and ensure communication with senior management
Maintain a strong on-site presence — this role requires five days a week on site
Foster a team-oriented, collaborative site culture

Requirements

Contracts Manager experience or a Project Manager with experience delivering full projects of €30M+ and seeking to move into a Contracts Manager role
Strong leadership background, particularly in managing subcontractors (no direct labour used)
Approachable and solution-focused personality — someone who leads by example and builds positive relationships
Proven track record of managing complex projects through to completion
