To support the next phase of growth, we are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Finance & Operations Executive to deliver financial and operational excellence across the business.


Role Overview


The Finance & Operations Executive is a pivotal role within our central operations team, responsible for managing internal finance processes, operational administration, and commercial support workflows. This position plays a key strategic role in driving the operational engine of a high-growth company.


Primary responsibilities include owning financial reporting tools, supporting client invoicing and budget tracking, and ensuring smooth execution of operational processes across the business. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities


Finance operations

  • Own and maintain financial tracking tools including project profitability models, cash flow forecasts, and budget vs. actual reports.
  • Generate and send client invoices, manage payment tracking and queries, and support key month-end financial processes.
  • Partner with our accounting provider on reconciliations, reporting, and operational finance tasks.
  • Lead weekly internal calls on accounts receivable, including status updates and resolution planning.
  • Support commission calculations, finance inputs for leadership packs, and ad hoc analysis for decision making.
  • Compile and manage ongoing board reporting.


Commercial and administrative support

  • Coordinate the execution of client contracts – from templating and system updates to compliance checks and filing.
  • Ensure CRM and SharePoint data is accurate and up to date, with strong documentation practices.
  • Assist with legal document filing, meeting coordination, and maintaining the internal company calendar.
  • Compile and manager ongoing sales, pipeline and commission reporting.


Operational support

  • Collaborate with the Head of People on company initiatives including team socials, leadership offsites, and employee engagement activities.
  • Manage third party vendor relationships, ensuring service quality, budget alignment, and contract compliance.
  • Maintain a centralised vendor contract register and proactively resolve any supplier related issues.


Key skills and experience

  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Great communication skills including writing.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software.
  • Preferable understanding of Hubspot.
  • Confident working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint for file and access management.
  • Financially literate with a strong ability to interpret and communicate data.
  • Experience managing suppliers or third-party vendors is a strong plus.
