Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established manufacturer of various types of industrial solutions including industrial doors. They are looking to bring on a field-based Engineer to cover Peterborough and the surrounding areas. With a competitive base salary and numerous other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Industrial Door engineer interested in a new role.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing the company’s products in and around Peterborough as well as further afield when required
  • Fixing/maintaining a wide variety of industrial doors
  • Reporting to the Service Manager
  • Working alongside the rest of the engineering team to maintain a high level of customer service
  • Developing a knowledge of the company’s customer base and representing the company in the right manner when attending customer site

Requirements

The company has a preference for candidates with experience of fixing mechanical and electrical faults on industrial doors. Due to the requirements of the role, you will need to hold a full, clean driver’s license. The ideal candidate will also hold an IPAF licence alongside CSCS, SSSTS and MEWPS certification. In terms of location, you will need to be based in Peterborough or the surrounding areas due to the location of the customer base you will be servicing.

The Company

Our client is an international manufacturer of a wide variety of Industrial Doors and has had a strong global presence for the past 50 years. The equipment they provide is utilized in multiple sectors including Automotive, Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical. Due to recent expansion, they’re now looking to add to their service team with a Field Service Engineer to further increase market share.
