Unique opportunity to join an expanding Scientific Instrument Manufacturer in their Service Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual either seeking to build a career in scientific field service or looking to transition from a laboratory-based role into the field.

Based out of the company’s Sheffield office, this role involves providing on-site technical support, software assistance, and operator training for a range of specialist scientific instruments. While much of the travel will be within the UK, the position also includes regular international assignments across Europe and further afield.

To be considered for this role, candidates will have:

  • Full UK driving licence

  • HND, BSc, MSc, PhD in Engineering or Scientific discipline

  • Practical industry experience with HPLC or Liquid Scintillation Counting (LSC)

  • Excellent people management and communication skills

  • Experience in a customer service environment

  • Experience within the pharmaceutical or nuclear medicine industries is highly desirable
