Job Opportunity: Field Service Engineer –| M62 Corridor

Your Role: Field Service Engineer

This opportunity will particularly appeal to candidates who enjoy working with a blend of traditional diesel engines and generators, while also engaging with modern control system technology.

You’ll be responsible for:

Servicing and maintaining portable air compressors, energy storage systems, generators, pumps, and handheld equipment
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, primarily across customer sites along the M62 Corridor
Carrying out PDI and commissioning of new equipment
Identifying necessary parts for repair
Completing job reports accurately and on time
Coordinating your weekly schedules
Promoting safety on all customer sites and workshops
Upholding high standards of engineering excellence
Maintaining your test instruments
Representing our client with professionalism and pride

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Hands-on experience with at least some of the following:
Energy Storage Solutions
Generators
Battery Systems
Portable Air Compressors
Pumps
Lighting Towers

Knowledge of the construction industry
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with Microsoft 365
A customer-first mindset and a goal-oriented approach
A full clean UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK

Location:

You’ll be covering the M62 Corridor, so ideally you’ll be located along or near this region (e.g. Manchester, Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, or surrounding areas).
