Service Engineer – Specialist Machinery (UK & International)
Liverpool HQ
£60,000 to £65,000 basic + travel bonus + overtime
4-day week when based at HQ

We’re recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a well-established UK manufacturer of bespoke machinery used in pharmaceutical and research sectors worldwide.

You’ll be involved in commissioning, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of complex systems — both in the field and at HQ. Most projects involve Siemens PLC/HMI (TIA Portal), and you’ll be working closely with in-house engineering teams and customers on a global basis.

This is a technically rewarding role with a mix of UK and international travel. When not travelling, you’ll support machine builds, wiring and FAT testing at the Liverpool base. Average tenure in the team is over 10 years, and engineers are well-supported with flexible hours and solid benefits.

Key details:



Base salary £60–65k

Daily travel bonus (£50–£100 depending on day)

Overtime (x1.5 weekdays and Saturdays, x2 Sundays and bank holidays)

4-day week (Mon–Thurs) when at HQ
