We are seeking an experiencedEnvironmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Site Leadto oversee and drive EHS initiatives at our pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS leadership within pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manageEHS policies and programsto ensure regulatory compliance and workplace safety.
  • Leadrisk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation strategies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance withISO 14001 & ISO 45001standards and other industry-specific regulations.
  • ConductEHS audits, inspections, and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • ProvideEHS trainingand awareness programs for employees at all levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS best practices into daily operations.
  • Maintain relationships withregulatory agenciesand ensure timely reporting of EHS metrics.
  • Drivesustainability initiativesand environmental impact reduction strategies.
  • Lead emergency response planning and crisis management efforts.
  • Monitor and analyzeEHS performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degreein Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experiencein an EHS leadership role withinpharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge ofGMP, FDA, MHRA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise inrisk assessment methodologies(e.g., HazOp, Zurich risk analysis).
  • Certification inEHS management systems(e.g., NEBOSH, CSP, CIH) is preferred.
  • Excellentcommunication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in afast-paced, highly regulated environment.
